We are mash-ively grateful

Potatoes are basically the comfort food equivalent of a weighted blanket. I don’t matter what form they take – chips, crisps, mashed, baked or hash browns – they just understand what you need.

For many years, Beta Spuds have been donating huge volumes of their premium product to Foodbank WA, 271 tonne in the last three years alone!

Potatoes have so many nutritional benefits – they contain antioxidants and supply beneficial vitamins and minerals, including vitamin C, B6, and potassium. They may also benefit your digestive health.

While potatoes are often linked with being a carb and therefore avoided by some, we need to have some carbs each day for energy but like most things, they should be taken in moderation.

Beta Spuds are a proud WA-owned company, more than 30 years in business and we strongly believe in giving back to the communities around us. We are pleased that the potatoes we donate to Foodbank regularly provide families in WA with a versatile and nutritious addition to their weekly meal options.” said Matthew Cocciolone, CEO Beta Spuds.

Our customers are so happy to be able to have regular access to this very versatile root vegetable and seeing how quickly they fly off the shelves, potatoes are a staple food in many households.

Thanks so much Beta Spuds.
