VOLUNTEER WITH FOODBANK

Volunteer With Foodbank

The Foodbank team is small and we rely heavily on teams and individuals who generously give their time to help us get food to the people who need it. We have different volunteer opportunities available in each state, if you would like to volunteer select your state below:

Volunteers are our key ingredient

At Foodbank NSW & ACT, our volunteers are the lifeblood of our organisation, bringing a wealth of life experiences and a shared commitment to our mission.

Each day, our amazing volunteers pack food and grocery orders to distribute to our community partners. They handle everything from sorting and labeling items to stocking shelves and packing groceries.

We welcome you to fight hunger with Foodbank NSW & ACT by volunteering at our Sydney Distribution Centre.

Corporate, group, and one-off volunteering

Corporate volunteers help us with core work in our distribution centre. Team sizes usually vary from 1 to 20 people and are planned in advance to meet our operational requirements.

Corporate volunteering is a genuine volunteer experience at Foodbank NSW & ACT, so we don’t charge a fee. We do require a firm commitment from a management representative for all booking requests.

If you are interested in bringing your team to volunteer, please review our Corporate Volunteering Terms & Conditions, and contact Luke Chesworth, Volunteer Engagement Manager, by email.
