Foodbank relies on donations large and small. If you’re keen to join us in the fight against hunger, you can donate food as an individual or family, or organise a food drive collection in your school, workplace, community or sporting club.
Some of our most in demand items include:
- Canned fruit, vegetables, seafood, soups and meals
- Breakfast cereal
- Pasta, noodles and rice
- Long life milk and juice
- Coffee, tea and spreads
- Muesli bars, dried fruit and nuts
- Sauces, seasoning, cooking supplies like flour, oil and sugar
- Shampoo and conditioner
- Soap and deodorant
- Dental floss, toothpaste and toothbrushes
- Tissues and toilet paper
- Feminine hygiene products
- Household cleaning items
The items donated by individuals or through food drives are sorted and packed by our volunteers into mixed grocery hampers. These hampers assist thousands of Victorian families and individuals each year. Donations must be unopened, in their original packaging with full ingredient and allergen listing, and within their best before date.
