Sport-acular events on the horizon

We are so excited about all of the fundraising events we have coming up in the next few months.

Charity sports matches combine a magic mix of competition and generosity bringing together athletes and fans to raise funds for important causes in the community.

We are very lucky to be the beneficiaries of several sporting events that will see all funds donated directly to us, meaning that we can put more very much needed meals on tables around the state.

The West Coast Eagles Million Meal Challenge which has become a fast favourite event of ours especially heading into the AFL season, the hype has already started. Our charity match is scheduled for Saturday, 3 May at Optus Stadium where the Eagles will be playing against Melbourne Demons.

This year will mark an incredible 13 years of support from the West Coast Eagles, and we couldn’t be more grateful to everyone from the players, those behind the scenes and those that have supported the event, for raising funds and for sharing our vision to feed those in need in our community.

Are you keen to help on the day? Duties include shaking a tin, or an EFTPOS machine or holding up a sign to raise our profile. All duties will then finish as the game starts and you are welcome to stay on and watch the game if you would like. If you would like to volunteer to be a part of this event, register your interest today.
