So much more than food  

Every day we open our doors we help over 750 households get enough food for their families across our state. 

Last financial year we provided 9.2 million meals to those who were doing it tough by distributing food and groceries through 471 frontline charities. In addition to this, though our School Breakfast program, we provided breakfast and fruit to over 560 schools feeding almost 25,600 children weekly. 

Many may not know that we provide much more than food in our “Surprise Chain”. We understand that the costs of all products have skyrocketed, so when we have an opportunity to be able to offer other products to our customers, such as non-food products, we jump at the chance. 

Just in time for Christmas, we received a delivery of donated L’Oréal products – Polo Ralph Lauren, Mugler and Lancôme fragrances! We were thrilled to bits, and so were our customers, giving them the opportunity to treat their family, friends and even themselves to a little bit of luxury. There are still a few perfumes left at the Perth branch. 

We regularly offer our customers nappies in a range of sizes which are popular. We also have a range of self-care products for both men and women including shaving cream and sanitary items – products that can really add up at the till at the shopping centre. 

What we can offer our customers often depends on what we have been donated (with the exception of our Everyday Food Essentials Range), so we encourage customers to always keep an eye out for unexpected bargains. Where else could you find Ralph Lauren fragrances for less than 1/3 of it’s recommended retail price? 

 We are so grateful to our generous donors both local and national, for the wide variety of products we can offer. We all deserve a treat sometimes.
