Thanks to Premier Fresh Australia, a leading fresh produce supplier and long-term Foodbank supporter, Western Australian families recently received a huge supply of refreshing watermelon to enjoy.

Late January, Premier Fresh Australia visited our Perth branch delivering a huge supply of juicy, refreshing watermelons – a much-needed addition to the fresh food we distribute across our State. Their visit provided a fantastic opportunity to see firsthand where their donations go and explore new ways to strengthen our partnership in the fight against food insecurity.

With the raising cost-of-living, fresh fruit and vegetables can be out of reach for so many Western Australian families. That’s why donations like this are so important; watermelon in particularly, is hydrating, vitamin-rich fruit that provides a refreshing healthy snack especially during warmer months.
