“When we first moved here from New Zealand my husband had a good job. But then he lost it quite suddenly. The bills started to come in soon after and we couldn’t afford to pay them, so we lost everything. We were homeless. So I had to reluctantly send my children back to New Zealand.
Charities have helped us through the toughest of times, but now we’re back on our feet and have our children again, so I had to give it back in return.”
