I moved here from Moldova 40 years ago thinking that life would be better.

Now in Moldova, my brother lives like a king and I’m embarrassed to show him photos of my house. We both paid around the same price as well.

I’ve been getting food assistance for 2 years because my pension doesn’t cover much. A few years ago, they had free dental care on the pension, but now I have to pay for that as well. It’s hard when the bills come around or accidents happen. Getting free food is just one less thing to worry about.
