One event brings in over 4,500 meals & much needed non-food products
We were so excited to have a presence at the Metcash Trade Show 2025 held at the Crown last month. It was amazing opportunity for us to meet and greet with independent retailers, suppliers, and the Metcash team, fostering innovation, collaboration, and business growth.
The Metcash Trade Show 2025 held at the Crown last month was an amazing opportunity for us to meet and greet with independent retailers, suppliers, and the Metcash team, fostering innovation, collaboration, and business growth.
As Australia’s leading wholesaler, Metcash has one of the widest distribution networks in Australia.
They service independent retailers in all corners of Australia, including Cape York and Cooktown in the North East, Dampier and Broome in the North West, Albany and Denmark in the South West and Tarwin Lower and Foster in the South East.
We were really excited to attend the event which provided us with an exclusive opportunity to meet suppliers who were showcasing their newest products and highlighted the importance of supporting independent businesses and strengthening local communities.
We were incredibly lucky, and very thankful to all of the suppliers who together graciously donated their produce to us at the close of the event which totalled over 2,500 kg of food and groceries, including much need non-food products, for people in WA who need it the most.
Events such as these open doors for prospective new partnerships, and we very much look forward to meeting with them soon. We also extend a huge thank our existing donors for their ongoing support and ongoing partnership – we couldn’t do it without you!
