Hitting sixes with Queensland Cricket!

From financial donations to volunteering in our warehouse, Queensland Cricket continue to knock us for six!

Sharing our passion for helping Queensland communities, the QC team organised a food drive across the state to support those who have been doing it tough. The food drive stretched from Cairns, down to Townsville, Mackay and Rocky including the Premier Cricket Clubs and of course the Brisbane HQ. All got involved with March’s food drive collection.

Chief Executive Officer Max Walters said Queensland Cricket was proud to have Foodbank as an Official Charity Partner due to a shared vision of assisting Queensland communities.

“Foodbank are a charity doing wonderful things for Queenslanders in need, and we are proud to play a small role in fighting hunger across the country.

“This summer has been an extremely challenging one for many communities in regional parts of our state who have been dealing with floods, drought and bush fires. We hope that our contribution through next week’s food drive will assist families and individuals who have been doing it tough.”
