Hawaiian Giving Boxes
are back again

When we start to see the Christmas decorations going up in shops and our local neighbourhood centres, it really starts to feel like Christmas is on the way!

Hawaiian Giving Box

For all of us here, this means that the wonderful Hawaiian Giving Box project is just around the corner. This will see us partner up with Hawaiian shopping centres across Perth to raise much needed food and funds for those struggling in our communities, to ensure that their Christmas can be a little brighter.

Participating shopping centres are Claremont Quarter, Melville, Forrestfield, Victoria Park, Bassendean, Noranda and the Hawaiian centres which will all accept food donations under 80kg and also have tap’n’go units on the boxes if you would like to donate.

Claremont Quarter will have a Champagne bar and Santa Photos, of which some proceeds will be donated to Foodbank, along with gift wrapping which will see 100% of profits donated to us. The gift wrapping is taking place between 9 – 24 December. If you would like to volunteer, please email fundraising@foodbankwa.org.au.

As we enter December and all things Christmassy, here are some handy hints on how to make your wrapping stand out above the rest! How to Wrap a Standard Box and Wrapping Unusual Presents are very helpful.

We are so grateful to be partnering once again with the amazing and generous people at Hawaiian who make a real difference in their communities.

Hunger doesn’t break for Christmas
