Give a Feed gives hope
to families at Christmas
The amazing people behind the Give a Feed initiative have done it again. They have put together a delicious Christmas-themed hamper that will comfortably feed a family of four on Christmas. The hampers are packed by volunteers at the Perth Centre for Hunger Relief and will be distributed by us to ensure they reach those who are most vulnerable in our community.
A kind donation of $50 provides a Give A Feed Christmas hamper to those that need it the most. This year the huge hampers contain Christmas cake, custard, gravy sauce, Plumrose Tinned Leg ham, SPC Baked Beans, Arnott’s Nice shortbread biscuits, SPC Peaches, canned vegetables, jelly, crackers, instant mashed potato, rice, penne pasta and donated chocolate as an extra treat.
Now in its 12th year, the Give a Feed initiative is on track to surpass raising a million dollars to help Western Australians in need, an amazing milestone.
Give a Feed was founded in by Wayne Smith and Aaron Pitt to help WA families in need enjoy Christmas. The duo partnered with Foodbank WA and Rotary WA and to date have helped than 30,000 families.
Thank you, Wayne, Aaron and Rotary WA, but in particular, thank you to all of those people who have supported Give a Feed and made this project such a success.
