Foodbank SA Edwardstown Offices taking SHAPE
Foodbank SA offices in Edwardstown recently undertook a transformation thanks to an $18,520 grant from Department for Communities and Social Inclusion (DCSI) and the amazing additional pro bono work supported by Shape and over a dozen South Australian trades!
It 2017/18 it was evident our Foodbank team of staff and volunteers were fast out growing the office space available. This limited our ability to recruit new office volunteers to support our programs. In 2018, Foodbank were successful with in an application for a DCSI office fit out grant.
With some clever refurbishment consulting from Shape and the supporting trades offering pro-bono support, our grant was able to stretch to over $100,000 worth of upgrades. Our updated offices are now complete and we now have room to house our office volunteers! We look forward to showing you our improved office on your next visit.
