I don’t know what we would do without our supporters. You are the heart and soul of everything here at Foodbank.
This month reminded me of how much is left to do. Our Child Hunger Report “Rumbling Tummies” shows that 1 in 5 kids continue to go hungry in Australia.
Clearly our lucky country isn’t lucky for all of us, but it is important to remember that we are making a difference together.
Sue used to be one of the 1 in 6 people who didn’t know where their next meal was coming from. After bravely sharing her story she’s been overwhelmed by the support from her community and from Foodbank supporters. Sue, the brave face from regional NSW has asked us to thank you personally for all of your support.
“Thanks to Foodbank supporters, regional battlers like me won’t have to go without food” said Sue.
Katherine recently shared her story with us. She really does need our help getting back on her feet. You won’t believe what she’s already gone through and the amazing determination she has to rebuild her life one day at a time.
