Feeding thousands of families
We were able to act quick to help 2,000 Victorian families doing it tough this winter, thanks to your support.
As the cost of living continues to rise, and families and people are struggling, we wanted to do something big to help our community immediately. So we ran not just one but two drive thru sites at the same time across two different parts of Melbourne where families could come and collect free food hampers. No questions asked.
Your regular and reliable donations meant we could quickly organise the event where we handed out 2,000 hampers of fresh produce and 2,000 hamper with pantry staples at the drive thru at the Melbourne Wholesale Market in Epping and Chobani’s newly-expanded facility in Dandenong on July 3.
The people who attended the drive thru were incredibly grateful and we want to pass their thanks onto you – thank you for putting smiles on the faces of so many people this winter.
