Task 2 – Be humble

We need to remember that sometimes you may not feel so good but there is always something to be thankful for. Is it your mum or dad? Maybe your sister or brother? Is it going to school, seeing friends or the meal you just ate?

By learning to be thankful for what we have, we can become more caring and understanding for other people. This will also make us more grateful for the little things, as we are very lucky to have these things as many people are living without them.

This term, we encourage you to help brighten someone’s day by being kind. To do this we would like you to create ‘Superhero kindness rocks’ to help bring a smile to someone’s face. You could write some kind words on your rocks including, ‘spread kindness’, ‘you are a superhero’, ‘you can!’ or ‘smile’. Then you can hide them around your community. Make sure you take a photo of your rocks and let us know where you have put them.

We have other activities you can complete including; a be humble word search or creating a be humble video.

To enter the monthly competition please complete the form below and attach your photo or video, alternatively you can also email it to us at superhero@foodbanksa.org.au.
