Earlier in the month the team from ABC’s Behind the News paid a visit to Foodbank SA and had a blast learning about the huge amount of food that’s donated and what it takes for our dedicated volunteers to distribute that food across the state to help SA families in need.

The episode aired in conjunction with National Volunteer Week and we can’t wait to share this segment with you to highlight the importance of Foodbank SA’s work and the work of our amazing volunteers.

During the National Volunteer Week celebrations, Foodbank SA held events across the state to thank our incredible volunteers who work tirelessly to fight hunger and make a positive impact in the lives of so many.

This year’s theme “We are the Change Makers” is a powerful reminder that we can all make a difference in our communities through acts of kindness and service, just like our Foodbank SA volunteers do every day.
