The Foodbank Mobile Food Hub is helping Foodbank to take food to where it is needed the most.

Foodbank SA supporter, ElectraNet is helping to ‘power’ the Mobile food hub and keep it on the road for the next four years, after the State Government provided the initial start-up grant. Due to the increase in demand we need help to keep the shelves of the Mobile Food Hub filled.

We encourage organisations to sponsor a day providing much needed food and products for a particular run.  It may be a specific location/area that the organisation wishes to support and we can work with you to come to a mutually beneficial location.

Sponsorship

The cost to fully load the Mobile Food Hub with food and product is $1,100, therefore sponsorship for the full amount is encouraged and is of great help.

Benefits of sponsoring the Mobile Food Hub

Benefit to the organisation sponsoring the Mobile Food Hub for the day would be:

• Social media post recognising their support with group photo
• PR opportunities will be sought where appropriate
• Opportunity for up to 6 staff to attend with the Mobile Pantry distributing food to those in need (Transport provided from Edwardstown)
• Certificate of Appreciation
• Knowing your group have provided 2,400 meals for families in need if fully sponsoring

Can’t do full sponsorship but want your group to volunteer at a Mobile Food Hub run for a day a minimum tax deductible donation of $250 is very much appreciated.

Mobile Food Hub runs occur on a Monday, Wednesday or Friday from 8.30 am to 3.30 pm currently with additional days to be announced soon.

Locations could be to Barossa Valley, Aldinga, Lobethal or Victor Harbor.
