WESTFIELD CHRISTMAS FOOD DRIVE

Foodbank supports more than 135,000 South Australians in need every month. Help us to ensure no South Australian will go hungry this Christmas by donating online or at Westfield shopping centres.

Westfield Shopping Centre has once again collaborated with Foodbank SA for their annual ‘Christmas Food Drive’.

From November 22, 2023 to January 3, 2023, Westfield will host Foodbank food donation bins outside of supermarkets at Westfield Marion, Tea Tree Plaza and West Lakes. Foodbank relies upon the generous donations of Westfield shoppers and Foodbank supporters in order to meet the increasing demand of food relief.

Our vision is to end hunger – to feed hungry South Australians this Christmas. Our goal is to reach our donation target of 5 tonne of non-perishable food donations or equivalent funds during Food Drive.

Key Dates: 22 November, 2023 to 3 January 2024

Location:
Westfield Marion – Donation bins located outside of Coles, Woolworths and Aldi
Westfield Tea Tree Plaza – Donation bins located outside of Coles and Woolworths
Westfield West Lakes – Donation bins located outside of Coles and Woolworths.

What Foodbank needs this Christmas:

The ask is simple – we ask South Australians for non-perishable food donations or to donate online at www.foodbanksa.org.au/donate. Donating a non-perishable item bought from a store, or donating an extra can they have in their cupboard at home.

This year we have a shopping list of the foods we need to support those doing it tough this Winter:
  1. Tinned Soup
  2. Canned vegetables and canned fruit
  3. Tinned spaghetti/beans
  4. Long life milk
  5. Cereal
  6. Tuna
  7. Tinned meals
  8. Jams/spreads
  9. Coffee/tea
  10. Pasta sauce/pasta
