When planning and promoting your Food Drive, make sure that you have this ‘shopping list’ handy!

Do you have posters or other materials to help  promote my Food Drive?

Christmas Food Drive posters are available to download in pdf format for you to print and place around your organisation or school and on the collection bins or boxes. Simply download our FBSA Christmas Food Drive Posters and Foodbank – 12 Days of Christmas_Poster  We also have flyers about Foodbank and can deliver collection tins for gold coin donations where appropriate.

Can we get boxes or containers from Foodbank?

We find that it is easier if you just get any cardboard box you have available. You can decorate it with your own posters and the list of your most wanted items.

What are your drop off points?

You can drop off your donation at any of our four warehouses across the state, or our Food Hubs. You can find all addresses and trading hours here.

Can I have my donation collected?

During the months of November and December our warehouse is overloaded with Christmas hamper deliveries, food hub deliveries and getting food to those in need. We would greatly appreciate if you could drop off your donation. In special circumstances we may be able to organise pickup which will be dependent on warehouse/truck availability. We would also require a minimum of a weeks notice.

Is there anything else important to note regarding delivery?

If you would like a weighted tally of your food drive, we recommend that you label your boxes with your organisation/schools name and the words, ‘please provide a weighted tally’.

When do we need to drop off our food drive donation?

We would appreciate if you could please have all Christmas Food Drive donations to Foodbank SA & NT by early to mid December if possible so we have plenty of time to distribute the food before Christmas.

Is there anything else we could be doing?

We recommend that you promote your food drive in advance to give those in your organisation/school communities, enough time to organise.

You could also run a number of other activities to support the food drive like coin collections for casual days, sausage sizzles, bake sales etc.
