Foodbank SA & NT x ABC Gives 2024

On Wednesday 20 November, the ABC Gives campaign ran across South Australia and the Northern Territory in support of Foodbank SA & NT. Throughout the campaign, listeners, viewers, and supporters rallied together to make a meaningful impact in the fight against food insecurity. 

With ABC’s dedicated coverage and heartfelt storytelling, we saw donations pour in from across the region. Thanks to this collective effort, Foodbank SA & NT received over $160,000 in South Australia, and over $34,000 in the Northern Territory. These funds, combined, will help provide more than 388,000 meals to individuals and families in need. 

In Adelaide, next to the ABC’s outside broadcast at the Grosvenor Hotel, we held a hugely popular fundraising BBQ. A huge thanks to the Lions Club of the City of Adelaide for their ever-valuable grilling skills!
